At Insurtech Insights Europe 2023, we were joined in the JobsOhio lounge by Tom Mcfarland, UK Product Manager at Novidea. Novidea’s insurance distribution platform is built to digitalise insurance businesses by fuelling rapid growth, optimising customer experience, and gleaning real-time insights and actionable intelligence.

“What we’re seeing quite commonly are issues that can be split into two main focus areas. One being the external factors that influence and cause issues for brokers and MGA’s, and the second kind of being more internally enforced issues on those operations.”

“From an internal perspective, what we’re seeing is that many of the agencies operating in the marketplace are utilizing quite old-fashioned and legacy systems that aren’t supporting the kind of working practices that are commonplace in the world today. So, having access to desktops and having to remotely log on to systems and things of that nature which unfortunately for remote working and agile working practices, isn’t overly efficient and effective.”
