We spoke to Lorenzo Chapuis, Head of Sales for BankTech Software, at the Temenos Community Forum, about core banking systems and what changes need to be made. For Chapuis, a large-scale redesign of core systems would be a laborious 20-year process that banks do not have the time for. Offering micro-services, however, provides a more pragmatic solution for customers, with a shorter road map for implementation.
