SEBA Bank’s Mathias Schütz Gives His Predictions For The Future Of SEBA And The Industry At Large

Mathias Schütz, Chief Commercial Officer for EMEA at SEBA Bank, sits down with Douglas Mackenzie from FF News for a discussion about the future of the fintech industry. Mathias gives his predictions for the year ahead, both for the industry and for SEBA Bank.

“If we look a bit back, we will see which direction [the industry] will go. The last year was kind of a landmark year for the digital assets industry. Maybe not in the most positive manner, but it was a landmark in the sense that it showed in which direction it will go. It will show that with everything that happened. God forbid, it should not happen and will not happen again.”

“It’s the same as in traditional finance. Looking back at 2008, and all the things like Madoff that happened. What was the answer to that? Regulation. So, also in a digital assets world, regulation will step in and it will go in our direction.”
