In Berlin for MPE 2023, the FF News team sat down for a conversation with Paul Rodgers, the Chairman at Vendorcom. Vendorcom is a multi-stakeholder membership organisation that connects seekers, solvers and shapers in the European Payments Community. It has helped shape the collaborative & competitive landscape in payments since launching in 2003.

“Vendorcom has actually been going 20 years this year. We launched it in 2003 during the rollout of Chip & Pin and it’s amazing what’s happened over the course of the last 20 years.”

“It started off really to bring together the key players, all stakeholders with a focus mainly on merchant payments. We think there’s a big enough focus and there’s so many topics in that area that it’s worth focusing on distinctly, but we’re covering all payment types, all payment channels in all merchant market sectors.”
