At the MoneyLIVE Summit 2023, we caught up with Kirit Bhatia, the Head of International Business Development at Ripple. Ripple enables global financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers to move, manage and tokenise value with cryptocurrency solutions.

“It’s been super frustrating that a handful of players in 2022, really fraudsters, created so much turbulence in the industry. We’ve been around for 10 years now and we’ve seen multiple of these cycles or ‘crypto winters’ as we like to call them in the industry. Throughout that, we’ve been super focused on solving real-world problems with what blockchain and crypto can offer as solutions.”

“We’ve done that in the payment industry over the last few years. Continue that with CBDCs, with the tokenisation of carbon, crypto liquidity and this year tokenizing other real-world financial assets. In a nutshell for us, it’s focus on solving problems and you’ll be ok”
