At Finovate Europe 2023, the FF News team had the chance to catch up with Karan Jain, the CEO of NayaOne. NayaOne is a digital transformation platform that works with banks and insurance companies to help accelerate their digital transformation journeys and leverage the fintech ecosystem.

“One thing that I’ve been pondering lately, specifically speaking about the UK and European tech ecosystems in financial services, is that there’s a lot of good talent. There are a lot of financial services, there’s a lot of tech and there’s a lot of good talent. There’s no shortage of people coming up with ideas and actually building good fintechs.”

“Then, you have a really wide breadth of VS ecosystems that fuel the good ideas that are coming through. What I’m finding is that there’s a consumption issue. You’ve got good ideas, good people pumping out good fintechs. They’ve got good capital available to fuel those ideas. You’ve got a lot of financial services organisations that need these ideas to partner with to go and service their customers to the next level, but there’s a consumption issue when it comes to pushing these good ideas into financial services.”
