Jonathan Metais Discusses The Importance Of Education With The Uptake Of Crypto Investing

Jonathan Metais, U.S. Senior Content Marketing Associate at Bitstamp joins FF News’ Douglas Mackenzie for a virtual discussion about education in the cryptocurrency industry. With the recent uptake in investment in cryptocurrencies, more and more new investors continue to enter the space. Jonathan believes that with this trend, education in the sector is more important than it’s ever been.

“Of course, we should be putting crypto education in schools, but I also believe that investing and finance should also be in schools and they’re not really yet either. You know, before I even got into the crypto space, I didn’t know much about economics, investing or finance.”

“The beauty of crypto is that you can learn all of those things with one specific topic. So, I think that it would be really important to have it in schools for that reason, because you can really teach a wide range of topics just with crypto and crypto is exciting, it’s fun and it’s new.”
