Jason Cozens Discusses Adapting To ISO 20022 Changes
In this exclusive interview at the FF News studio, Jason Cozens, Founder & CEO of Glint, discusses how their organisation are adapting to changes in ISO 20022. The Glint App allows users to hold Gold & USD wallets and transfer between them. Glint also allows users to make everyday purchases using gold instead of fiat currency.
“You know, I’m always a little bit sceptical about, you know, centralized government-based initiatives. I’m always interested in the independence of the individual etc., but actually this particular initiative I think is a good one.”
“The ability to share rich information through the standard between different financial institutions means that, if you come down to the basics of it, it’s gonna allow us to do better KYC and anti-money laundering. There’s a huge onus on companies, like any kind of company that participates in the financial services industry, but especially companies like Glint or the challenger banks to have to work very hard to make sure that we know who our customers are, and that we’re reducing fraud.”
