At MPE 2023, the FF News team caught up with Gustaf Hult, the Head of Banking as a Service at Intergiro. Intergiro have built a single API with various endpoints that allows their clients to offer or embed financial services to their clients.

“I think that what happened is that traditional banking had an opportunity to also move forward when it comes to consumer technology. But the lack of it led to others taking that opportunity and making really good consumer technology pieces or apps.”

“That era is probably a little bit over, so now we’re moving into more of the add-ons space. You want to make business where you actually purchase your consumer goods for instance. It should be super streamlined and have very low boundaries to get the service that you want. So that’s probably something where we’ll see even more going forward.”
