Simona Zary & Stefan Schlamp – Deutsche Börse – Tradetech Europe 2023
Over in Paris for Tradetech Europe 2023, we stopped by for an interview with Stefan Schlamp, Head of Quantitative Analytics at Deutsche Börse and Simona Zary, VP for Data and Analytics Sales at Deutsche Börse. The Deutsche Börse Group is an international exchange organisation and innovative market infrastructure provider that ensures capital markets are transparent, reliable and stable.
Simona: “We provide market data that is coming directly from our trading infrastructure from Xetra and Eurex, but also we have indexed data from Qontigo and we also have other partnerships for data provision with 360T. We also now have KAIKO crypto data and partner exchanges that help us to provide data to our market data feeds.”
Stefan “On the derivatives side, the participants used to be on a spectrum of speeds. I used to have some people who are super fast and then some people who are slightly slower. All this now has really changed, it’s really a bimodal distribution where you have a whole bunch of people who are cramped up within a few nanoseconds of speed and latency, and then everyone else. There is no in-between anymore.”
