Over in Berlin for MPE 2023, the FF News team sat down for a catch-up with Mehdi Sabbahe, Regional Sales Director at HPS. HPS is a payment solutions company that provides solutions for issuers, acquirers, card processors, ISO’s, retailers and national & regional switches.

“There seems to be more demand for servicing in terms of services and innovation. We’re seeing a lot of things around blockchain and AI. I think security is also something that’s coming into the fore with things like authentication and double authentication.”

“In the payments industry, all the new innovations need to come with technology that’s able to perform, that’s reliable and that’s cloud-native. There’s a lot of challenges that start to come in, you need to be sexy but you also need to be secure.”
