Loomis Pay: Bundling Cash, Card and Digital Payments for Merchants

At NRF 2025, Loomis Pay, the fintech arm of the Loomis Group, presented how it is evolving its role in the European payments ecosystem. Marking its fifth anniversary in October, the company is active in four markets across the Nordics and Spain, with plans to expand further across Europe with its model combining digital payments and POS services with Loomis’ cash services into a bundled offering for merchants.

Loomis Pay highlights how digital payments have reached a high level of maturity, while the POS landscape remains fragmented, with many different vendors often serving the same merchants. Against this backdrop, the company anticipates continued consolidation by vertical – such as food and beverage, services and retail – and eventually across borders, as providers seek scale and sustainable margins.

The company’s strategy is to simplify life for retailers by acting as a “true one package” provider: delivering not just technology, but also a single contract, unified support and pricing, and consolidated settlement and reconciliation. Around this core, Loomis Pay is building an open ecosystem where staff management, inventory, ERP and other tools can connect via APIs, allowing retailers to create a tailored operational “cockpit” as they grow.
