At MPE 2023 in Berlin, the FF News team caught up with Frank Van Der Wielen, the Director of Account Management at Aevi. Aevi’s cloud-based platform lets payments and transaction data flow across all channels and customer touchpoints. They also connect digital and in-person channels, orchestrate checkout flows, and set transaction data free.

“We see a couple of trends happening these days. Of course, PSD2 that’s an important one. If we translate that into the environment of the product suite of Aevi, it means that enables us to support within the ecosystem that we offer. We can enable alternative payments much easier such as direct debit payments from account to account.”

“So the next steps on this is that we execute the psd2 enablement further into the in-person payment atmosphere and we combine that on existing and new terminal estates.”
