Over at MPE 2023 in Berlin, the FF News team sat down for a catch-up with Darren Wood, Senior Solutions Consultant at ACI Worldwide. ACI Worldwide is a leader in real-time payments that delivers mission-critical software solutions that enable corporations to process and manage digital payments, power-omni-commerce payments, present & process bill payments and manage fraud & risk.

“ACI Worldwide is a technology provider providing basically the rails for merchants and PSPs to go through and enable payment orchestration. So, we have a payment orchestration platform, you look at the different channels coming in. They come through our payment orchestration platform and you get access to what I would cast as the ‘One Stop Shop’.”

“Then, we direct our traffic out, whether that’s the alternate payments providers or different acquirers you name it. We’re that one central place, but we’re agnostic when it comes to acquirers and everything like that. So, we try and keep this as simple as possible for the merchants by having a single set of APIs do those connections.”
