In New York for Insurtech Insights USA 2023, we sat down for an interview with Jeff Shi, the founder of Insurtech Groups. Insurtech Groups offer a wide range of insurance products to accommodate their customer’s policy needs and maintain a comprehensive & proactive customer experience.

“This is a revolution, bringing insurance to the next decade & the next generation. In the last 5 years, there’s $5.8 billion that was poured into insurtech. 90% of them, I would say, are focusing on carriers, MGAs and software. A whole lot of software. I mean, we are at this event right now, it’s all software, right?”

“At the end of the day the insurance industry, the $900 billion industry is frontline facing insurance customers. So, ITG is insurance that’s customer focused. We are you traditional broker in a sense, but we want to leverage all the technologies to go deep in the household penetration, and use the technology to improve the customer experience over the next decade.”
