Richer payments data is on the horizon. With NatWest | FF News at Fintech Connect

Richer payments data is on the horizon.

At Fintech Connect 2023 in London, we sat down with Simon Eacott from NatWest to find out where we are with cross-border payments. He sheds light on some of the changes that have taken place in the last 10 years and how they’ve navigated customer pain points to ensure they are increasing speed and improving the user experience.

Eacott, who is Head of Payments at the bank, tells us how they can tackle fraud in the wake of increased transaction volumes. We also hear about some trends and milestones we should look out for in the coming years, in the area of cross-border payments, alternative payments and digital currencies.
