At the MoneyLIVE Summit 2023 in London, we caught up with Chris Birney the Head of Sales for UK & Ireland at Render. Render is a platform built by UK open banking lender Abound. The platforms aim to help companies understand their borrower’s affordability by enriching calculations through the use of their developer API.

“The banks in some cases and big lenders haven’t been able to use open banking data to get more information about their customers. So it’s helping that credit decision and helping people who maybe have thin credit files and get on the credit ladder to help those customers make better decisions.”
