At Tradetech Europe 2023 in Paris, the FF News team stopped by for an interview with Adrian Ip, the Managing Director at Aquis. Aquis is a creator and facilitator of next-generation financial markets, through the provision of accessible, simple and efficient stock exchanges, trading venues and technology

“Aquis has 3 main divisions. We’ve got our markets division, which is pan-European equities trading. We’ve also got our technologies division where we licensed matching engines and market surveillance technology to other exchanges. Then we have our primary growth markets in the UK as well.”

“We published our annual report a few weeks ago. It’s been a record year across all divisions. If you look at the percentage gains in market share and also in technologies revenue, I think last year we beat AIM in terms of the number of new IPOs. We’re probably the fastest-growing exchange group in the world.”
