In our latest 60 second video from FTT Payments, we spoke to some of this year’s attendees to find out what speaker were most looking forward to.

A packed day, full of the latest and most important insights in the world of payments, the talks throughout  were formed of panel discussions which intrigued our interviewees.

The FTT Payments conference, which alongside networking, made for a worthwhile event and there were some clear standouts.

ClearBank’s Group Head of Embedded Banking Paul Staples took to the stage to discuss deep embedded banking which refers to the seamless integration of banking services into the digital interfaces of non-banking platforms and ecosystems.

Embedded finance is frequently hailed as a revolutionary force in the financial services industry, but the true potential and intricacies of this phenomenon are often not fully understood. As the ecosystem of embedded finance providers  continues to grow and evolve rapidly, the panel delved deeper into how these dynamics ultimately play out in practice.

The ultimate goal of embedded finance is to create value for end-users by providing convenient, tailored financial solutions. During this  discussion, the panel shared case studies and real-world examples of successful implementations; while also addressing challenges such as data privacy, security concerns, and the need for interoperability among different systems.

Additionally, the topic of AI within embedded finance featuring Danielle Dodoo, Digital Transformation Consultant – Banking & Payments was also discussed and asked how will the two solutions will interact to reshape the industry.

Fintech founder Garrett Cassidy and BR-DGE’s Tom Voaden also discussed the topic of payment orchestration and user exprience and how payment solutions must be delivered with the seamless ease as is the now default expectation for all users.
