Dan Andrews – Will Customers Become More Proactive Towards Insurance?
Here we sat down with Dan Andrews, Insurance Director at Vitesse PSP Limited, to explore the change in attitude towards insurance and whether we can expect to see customers becoming more proactive with what they want from insurers.
Vitesse PSP Limited is a payment service provider that specialises in delivering secure and efficient payment processing solutions, empowering businesses to accept and manage payments seamlessly across various channels, enhancing customer experiences and optimising financial operations.
“Consumers are far more savvy when it comes to the selection of insurance providers. We’ve got aggregators and other insurance platforms such as MoneySuperMarket where we can go in and shop essentially, like a supermarket. We can go in and look at who’s the cheapest and, in most cases, it isn’t just about cost. It’s about total coverage on a particular policy.”
“The consumer would be willing to pay a slightly higher premium to obtain the certainty of settlement, should an event occur. In the geopolitical environment we’re in today, the likelihood of such an event happening is greater now than it ever has been.”
