Bastiaan de Goei On Biggest Tech Changes In Insurance Industry

FF News sits down with Bastiaan de Goei, Insurance Industry Leader at Instabase, and discusses the biggest tech changes in the insurance industry. Instabase is a technology company which aids its customers in building intelligent applications, enabling organisations to apply advancements in artificial intelligence.

“The way to think about it is organisational capacity for change. The capacity has increased dramatically over the last 10 years … Things look fast, they happen fast, they are accurate, everything is available on your mobile phone and the reality is that the insurance industry has been left a little bit behind in that type of development.”

“The application of what we call deep learning models has allowed us to do dramatically much more with the understanding of highly complex and varied documents and other types of information and data inside of the insurance organisation, much more so than previously.”
