World’s Largest Fintech Meetings Event Expands to Europe with 2026 Lisbon Launch

Fintech Meetup announced the launch of Fintech Meetup Europe, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, 6-8 October 2026. The event will bring together 2,500+ attendees, including 650+ hosted buyers from banks, financial institutions, retailers, and merchants, alongside fintech innovators, investors, and ecosystem leaders from across Europe and beyond.

The Lisbon edition marks a major milestone in Fintech Meetup’s global expansion, building on its reputation as the world’s largest fintech meetings event. Powered by a proprietary technology platform that enables 25,000+ pre-scheduled double opt-in meetings, Fintech Meetup Europe will deliver unparalleled opportunities for networking, partnerships, and deal-making in one of Europe’s most vibrant fintech hubs.

Replicating its proven U.S. format, Fintech Meetup Europe provides participants with a structured yet flexible way to forge partnerships, launch products, and navigate the region’s regulatory and innovation landscapes.

“Launching Fintech Meetup Europe marks a major milestone for our team and the fintech industry. More than just another industry event, it’s a purpose-built platform designed to foster meaningful connections, accelerate partnerships, and drive growth across the European fintech ecosystem,” said Gary Dempsey, Event Director, Fintech Meetup Europe. “Our mission is simple: to help fintech and financial services leaders connect, collaborate, and grow. With Lisbon’s thriving fintech scene and its central accessibility across Europe, it’s the perfect home for our European edition.”

“Having a dedicated fintech networking platform in Europe represents an exciting milestone for the industry,” said Louisa Hunter, President of Fintech Meetup. “It will accelerate deal-making and innovation across the region by enabling banks, retailers, startups, investors, and technology partners to connect directly in a single, high-impact format.
